Ronnie Temple is garroted at a pool party during a total eclipse, with pool-boy Shawn Hodges' hotel pass cord. Blood from his cut hands turns up. Shortly after, around midnight, Diana Long suffers the same fate at home, possibly the work of a serial killer. Weird forensics also suggest a link with Mario Montero, who is trying to absorb wolf DNA. Both claims to have been framed are taken serious.
