Absent Dave and Renée Montavo's son Justin(12)'s neighbor and babysitter Heather Crowley believes she heard a prowler and finds her dying father at the door, skull smashed; her mother lies by their own pool, throat slashed. The Montavo's were drugged by having their drinks spiked at a Miami party. Neighbor Dr. Mike Lasker's fingerprints lead to a weird set of suspects, motives and confessions to other crimes, but how do they relate to the double murder? Erik is back on the job, but his memory-trouble proves a serious problem.
